  • Nokomis Beach Drum Circle: On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the local drum circle meets informally near the lifeguard tower at Nokomis Beach. Folks arrive around 6 p.m. every evening, but the time depends on the sunset throughout the year. A family-friendly drum circle takes place at Nokomis Beach about an hour before sunset. During this party, the audience plays maracas or dances to the drummers’ hypnotic rhythm.
